Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or water in a pinch)
  • ½ ripe banana, sliced (or ¼ cup blueberries)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Dash of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Grab a 16-oz mason jar or lidded cup (both work — anything that seals watertight).
  2. Add oats, whey protein, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Screw the lid on, shake 5 seconds to combine the dry mix.
  3. Pour in almond milk. Add banana slices and honey. Reseal + shake again for 10 seconds until everything is coated.
  4. Refrigerate overnight (or minimum 4 hours). If leaving early — build it the night before, throw in a cooler bag with an ice pack.
  5. Morning of: eat directly from the jar with a fork or spoon. Top with more berries if you packed them.
  6. Travel-tested: stays good 12 hours in a lightly chilled bag, 8 hours in normal room temp if you drink cold-brew after.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (breast preferred)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (2%)
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 lemon (juice only, or a squeeze from a lemon packet)
  • 2 mini whole-wheat tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • ¼ avocado, sliced (optional but does the job)
  • Salt + pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Pull the meat off your rotisserie chicken. Shred into a bowl (or a hotel room ice bucket lined with foil — works, promise).
  2. Add Greek yogurt, hot sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir with a fork until creamy and coated.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat. Add ½ cup spinach down the center.
  4. Spoon half the chicken mix on top of the spinach. Add sliced avocado if using.
  5. Fold the sides in, then roll from the bottom up like a burrito. Repeat with second wrap.
  6. Eat one now, wrap the second in foil or a ziplock and stash in a hotel mini-fridge for tomorrow's lunch.

  • ¼ cup shredded pepper jack or cheddar cheese
  • ¼ avocado, sliced

  6. Variations: swap salsa for jarred queso, add spinach for volume, or double the chicken pouch for extra protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 beef stick or jerky pack (Chomps, Country Archer, ~10g protein)
  • 1 string cheese
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs (grab from Starbucks, 7-Eleven, or airport market)
  • 1 apple, sliced (or unsliced — travel-safe either way)
  • 1 peanut butter packet (Justin's or similar, ~7g protein)
  • Optional: mini bag of almonds or trail mix

Directions

  1. Assemble everything on a napkin, tray table, or open your carry-on and eat straight out.
  2. Dip apple slices into the peanut butter packet — squeeze small amount on each slice for control.
  3. Alternate bites: apple + PB → egg → cheese → beef stick. Keeps the flavor mix interesting.
  4. TSA note: solid foods (cheese, meat, eggs, apple, PB packet under 3.4 oz) all pass domestic security fine.
  5. Total prep? Zero — everything comes packaged from the grocery or airport shop.
  6. Pro move: pack 2-3 of these in different pouches for a full travel day (breakfast, layover snack, in-flight).
